Peter Marsden is a Scotland-born writer and director based in IOM & London working in narrative and commercial film.

Selected as part of BFI x BAFTA Crew & BAFTA Connect, his short film NOT REQUIRED BACK premiered at BFI London Film Festival and screened internationally, gaining acclaim from critics such as Mark Cousins and Eye For Film who described it as ‘captivating, haunting - transporting’.
His feature film debut RAZOR is in development with Shadowhouse Films (HOST), alongside short film MILLIE.

Previous work as writer/director have premiered on Vogue, Channel 4, Dazed & Confused, Rolling Stone and been featured as part of the Nowness Director’s Cuts series. His music films have won vimeo staff picks and multiple awards for both music video and narrative film, alongside ‘best of’ lists such as Pitchfork’s ’20 best of the year’.

His commercial work for global clients include Vice, Warp Records, Universal Music, EMI, Boiler-room, Red Bull Music Academy, Jungles in Paris as well as music videos for musicians like Danny Brown, Hudson Mohawke, BaauerAphex Twin.
